The ethnic legend ΒΛΑΥΝΔΕΩΝ is distributed around the upper periphery, while the magistrates' names ΑΠΟΛΛΩΝ and ΘΕΟΓΕΝ appear in the lower field, identifying the coin's issuing officials. The overall composition is well-centered and typical of the civic bronze coinage of Lydian Blaundos during the Hellenistic period. |
