Descrizione del dritto	The obverse presents a large-format vignette of a Green Tree Python (Morelia viridis), rendered in fine intaglio-style illustration, with the head of the snake occupying the right portion and a coiled juvenile specimen set against a tropical foliage underprint in the centre-left. The denomination numeral "10" appears in the upper right corner, with the "ZOO" logotype in guilloche-style lettering at upper left and the Czech lion heraldic device at lower left. The inscriptions "KRAJTA ZELENÁ" and "Morelia viridis" appear at the top, alongside the printer's name "STÁTNÍ TISKÁRNA CENIN" in vertical orientation along the left margin.

Descrizione del rovescio	The reverse carries a central vignette of a group of flamingos in varied poses against a warm ochre sunburst underprint, with a stylised Asian pagoda and a fortified hilltop structure visible in the background. A portrait of Charles Darwin with the dates "1809–1882" is rendered in a fine pencil-sketch style at the upper right. The lower portion bears the inscriptions "ZOO PLZEŇ", "Docela jiný svět", "ZOOLAR", and "Ochrana živočišných druhů", with the zoo director's signature facsimile at the left.

Commenti	Zoo Plzeň has issued a series of collector notes — each denominated in a fictional unit and featuring a different animal from the collection — printed by the Czech national security printer in Prague, the same facility responsible for Czech koruna banknotes. Having the STC produce these gives them genuine security paper and watermarks, which most zoo novelty issues worldwide do not bother with. The Krajta Zelená (green tree python) entry in the series is among the more visually arresting subjects chosen, though the reptile series generally outsells the mammal notes at the zoo's own gift counter.
