目录
| 正面描述 | Central field dominated by the elaborate tughra of Sultan Mustafa IV, rendered in the characteristic Ottoman calligraphic style with interlaced loops and ascending vertical strokes. A horizontal dividing line separates the tughra from the mint and date inscription below. The Arabic legend in the lower register reads the mint name 'Misr' (Cairo) and the regnal year 1222 AH. A dotted inner border runs along the upper rim, while the irregular flan edge is typical of hammered gold coinage of this period. A small drilled suspension hole is noted at the lower edge of the coin. |
