Reverse description The reverse displays a four-line Arabic inscription arranged in horizontal registers across the field, conveying the full Ottoman imperial titulature of Sultan Mustafa IV. The legend proclaims his sovereignty over two lands and two seas, following the traditional formula 'Sultan of the two shores and Khagan of the two seas, the Sultan son of the Sultan.' The field is unadorned, with the bold Thuluth-style script filling the flan. A dotted border encircles the legend, consistent with the hammered gold coinage of Ottoman Egypt. A small suspension hole is visible at the lower right rim.
