Reverse description At centre, the denomination 300 R is boldly rendered in large raised numerals and letter, set within an open wreath of laurel and berry branches that rise symmetrically from the base and curve to either side. A small heart-shaped ornament appears at the foot of the wreath, separating the two branches just above the date. The date 1834 is inscribed in the exergue below the wreath in evenly spaced numerals. The entire design is enclosed within a reeded border, consistent with the milled edge treatment of this pattern piece.
