| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents a bold cross pattée extending to the inner beaded circle, dividing the field into four quarters each containing a small annulet or pellet, a design common to Savoyard fort coinage of the period. A circular legend in uncial Latin characters reading SABAVDIE surrounds the cross, referencing the County of Savoy. The overall composition is typical of the fort denomination issued under Amadeus VI, with the cross serving as the dominant heraldic device. Die wear and flan irregularity are consistent with hammered production of the fourteenth century. |
