| Obverse description | Central field bears the crowned Bohemian lion passant, displayed within a beaded or linear circle. The royal crown surmounting the lion breaks into the surrounding legend, which commences at the 12 o'clock position. The peripheral inscription names the issuing sovereign in abbreviated Latin. The design is characteristic of the small hammered silver pfennig coinage of Bohemia, with the regal heraldic device rendered in the prevailing late Renaissance style. |
