Obverse description Central field bears the rampant Bohemian lion facing left, rendered in the hammered style typical of mid-16th century Central European coinage. The device is surrounded by an inner beaded border, with a Latin circular legend occupying the outer band. The overall composition is characteristic of small-denomination Habsburg issues struck for Bohemia under Emperor Ferdinand I.

Obverse lettering FERDI . D . G . EL . RO . IMP
Reverse description The reverse is uniface and entirely blank, with no design, inscription, or device of any kind. The flat, featureless surface is the result of the hammered production technique used for this small-denomination Weiss-Pfennig issue, whereby only one die was employed during striking.
