Obverse description A detailed relief depiction of St. Lambertus Church in Castrop-Rauxel, shown in three-quarter perspective with its characteristic multi-spired Gothic architecture. A bare deciduous tree flanks the church on the left and a decorated Christmas tree on the right, set against a mirror-polished field strewn with stars.
