Voucher Nieuwjaarsgeschenk Vooruit

Vooruit — the vast socialist cooperative headquartered in Ghent — issued these New Year's gift vouchers as part of its broader system of member welfare, distributing goods and scrip rather than cash dividends. The cooperative ran its own bakeries, pharmacies, and eventually a celebrated arts venue, all funded through this closed-loop economy. These vouchers circulated entirely within that internal network, redeemable at Vooruit's own shops and never intended for the open market.

Survival rate is low. Most were exchanged immediately and never kept.
