备注

Late Soviet collective farm scrip — a category that embarrasses the standard monetary history because it should not have existed by 1989. Kolkhoz internal vouchers were officially phased out during the Khrushchev-era reforms of the late 1950s and early 1960s, which mandated payment of farm workers in state currency rather than tokens redeemable only at the farm's own store. That "Novy Put" was still issuing rouble-denominated paper three decades later points to the persistent cash shortages that plagued rural distribution in the final Soviet years, not to any formal sanction from Moscow.

Khalturinsky District — renamed Orinsky in 1993 — was a quiet corner of Kirov Oblast, and documentation of scrip from this specific kolkhoz is sparse. Most such vouchers were discarded after redemption and survive only by accident.
