| Obverse description | The obverse features a detailed reproduction in relief of the imperial seal of Emperor Ludwig IV (Ludwig the Bavarian), depicting the enthroned emperor in full regalia holding an orb and sceptre, flanked by eagles. A circular Latin legend runs within the inner border of the seal, while the outer field carries the commemorative German legend referencing the granting of city rights on 23 July 1330. |
