| Reverse description | The reverse bears the distinctive tamgha of Bukhara, reduced to a highly schematic and crude arrangement of linear strokes forming a rectangular frame-like symbol, characteristic of the later and more debased emissions of Bukharan Sogdian bronze coinage. The device occupies the central field and is rendered with minimal detail, consistent with rapid die-cutting typical of small circulating bronzes of this period. The surrounding field is plain and largely unadorned. |
