A horse or equestrian figure depicted in profile facing right, rendered in the schematic style typical of early Afrighid bronzes of Choresmia. The animal's body is portrayed with simplified but recognizable anatomical features, consistent with the provincial artistic tradition of the region. Surrounding the central device, a Khwarezmian script legend runs along the periphery of the field. The inscription, partially worn, records the royal title and name of the ruler Bravik. The overall composition reflects the nomadic and Iranian artistic traditions blended in early medieval Transoxianan coinage. |
