Obverse description Bare male head in profile facing right, rendered in the Ibero-Roman artistic style with finely detailed curly hair and a youthful, idealised countenance. Two small dolphin symbols flank the head, one positioned before the face and one behind the neck, serving as mint or ethnic marks characteristic of Iberian coinage. The neck is truncated cleanly at the base, and the portrait fills the central field with no surrounding legend. The overall style reflects the hellenising influence prevalent in late Iberian bronze coinage of the pre-Roman conquest period.
