| Beschrijving voorzijde | A humped bull (zebu) advancing to the left occupies the central field of this roughly square flan. Above the bull's back, a four-armed Ujjain symbol (svastika-derived cross with circles at each terminal) is prominently placed. The surfaces are characteristic of the punch-marked and cast copper coinage of the Gangetic plain, with an uneven, granular texture. The bull is rendered in a schematic but recognizable style typical of early Indian city coinage. |
