Sekotias Lakas was one of the Iberian minting authorities operating during the Roman republican period, producing bronze coinage as Rome consolidated control over the peninsula following the Punic Wars. The attribution to this mint remains tentative in some literature — the reading of the Iberian script legend itself drove the identification, making CNH#1 something of a foundational reference point for the entire series.
