Reverse description Equestrian figure facing right, depicted as a horseman mounted on a prancing horse with forelegs raised. The rider holds a palm branch, a symbol of victory, aloft in his raised right hand. The horse and rider are rendered in a vigorous, schematic style typical of Iberian bronze coinage of the period. Below the horse, along the lower exergual line, appears the Iberian legend in Levantine semi-syllabic script reading 'baitolo', identifying the issuing city. The inscription is clearly legible in the image as a sequence of Iberian characters.
