A dolphin is positioned to the right of the head and a second dolphin to the left, serving as characteristic mint symbols flanking the effigy. The portrait is modeled in high relief with strong facial features, and the neck is truncated at the lower field.

Descrizione del rovescio	Equestrian figure advancing to the right at a vigorous gallop, the rider depicted in military attire and brandishing a spear held horizontally overhead.
