| Obverse description | Plain bronze field encircled by a dotted border. At centre, a stylised figure resembling the Iberian or semi-Punic symbol of Tanit or a palm-tree motif flanked by two curved elements, with the Latin letter 'P' positioned to the right. The design is rendered in low relief with a somewhat crude, provincial Hispano-Roman artistic style characteristic of Lusitanian bronze coinage of the late Republican period. |
