| Obverse description | Bare male head facing right, rendered in the Ibero-Hellenistic artistic tradition, with wavy layered hair and a heavily draped mantle visible at the truncation. A spool-shaped fibula (brooch) is depicted at the neck, serving as a distinctive iconographic marker of the Edetani coinage of Arse. The facial features are boldly modelled in high relief, with a prominent nose and strong jaw typical of the local die-cutting style. The field is plain and uninscribed. |
