正面描述 Bare head of Hercules in right profile, enveloped in the scalp of the Nemean lion, the feline's jaws framing the crown of the head and the mane falling behind the neck in schematic folds. The facial features are rendered in a bold, somewhat provincial style characteristic of Hispano-Punic bronze coinage. A knotted club is indicated to the right of the effigy in the field.

附加信息

Lascuta was a Turdetanian settlement in the Baetica region of Hispania, known primarily from a 189 BC bronze tablet — the Tabula Lascutana — recording a Roman senatus consultum issued by L. Aemilius Paullus that freed the enslaved population of the nearby settlement of Hasta and granted them rights to the land they occupied. The town's coinage is sparse, poorly documented in terms of precise chronology, and confined to a narrow range of bronze issues that saw limited regional circulation.
