Reverse description Three-line Latin inscription occupying the central field, giving the denomination and kingdom, with the date 1582 split across the lower portion of the legend. The upper area displays the denomination numeral III flanked by the Polish eagle, the Bathory family arms (three wolf's teeth), and the Lithuanian Pahonia (armored rider). The shield is divided by the initials of Crown Treasurer Jan Dulski, whose mint responsibility is thus acknowledged. A floral ornament separates elements of the circular legend.
