The mint date is divided by the monogram, with the first two digits appearing to the left and the last two digits to the right of the central device. The plain field surrounding the monogram bears no legend, giving the design a bold, uncluttered appearance characteristic of mid-18th century Polish billon coinage. |

The circular legend around the periphery reads GROSSVS TRIPLEX GEDANENSIS, identifying the denomination and the issuing city of Gdańsk. |
