| Reverse description | The arms of Gdańsk occupy the central field: a crowned shield bearing two crosses above and below, flanked by two rampant lions acting as heraldic supporters, each crowned and facing the shield. A decorative mantle or cartouche frames the base of the arms, beneath which appear the mint official's initials R·CE. The circular legend around the periphery reads GROSSVS TRIPLEX GEDANENSIS, identifying the denomination and the issuing city of Gdańsk. |

| Additional information |
August III's Gdańsk trojaks of this period were struck under a monetary system already buckling under wartime pressure — the Seven Years' War disrupted Baltic trade routes on which Gdańsk depended, and the city's mint was simultaneously navigating the tension between its privileges as a semi-autonomous Free City and Crown monetary policy. The result was production across multiple die marriages documented under Igielski's G.60 and G.63 varieties, distinguishable primarily by punctuation and arrangement in the reverse legend.
Billon coinage of this fineness circulated hard and fast in urban Gdańsk commerce. Survivors in problem-free condition are genuinely scarce.
