| Reverse description | The central field displays three heraldic emblems arranged horizontally: the Polish White Eagle to the left, the crowned Lithuanian Pahonia (armed knight on horseback) shield at centre surmounted by a royal crown, and the Lithuanian Vytis (mounted knight) to the right. Above the central shield, the Roman numeral III denotes the coin's denomination. Below the heraldic group, a four-line Latin inscription reads GROS ARG TRIP M D L followed by the split date 15 (mint mark) 98, indicating the year of issue with the Wilno mint mark interposed. The overall composition is typical of Lithuanian-mint trojak coinage of the Vasa period. |
