Reverse description The reverse is divided into three horizontal registers displaying the principal heraldic arms of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth: the Roman numeral III above the Polish eagle, the Vasa sheaf arms, and the Lithuanian mounted knight (Pogon), arranged vertically in the central field. Below this composition, the Przegonia (Odrowąż) arms divide the mint-master's initials I and D, with crossed hooks to the left and the last two digits of the regnal year to the right. The denomination legend in abbreviated Latin encircles the design along the outer rim.
