The effigy occupies the central field in a bold hammered relief typical of the Olkusz mint. A continuous Latin legend encircles the portrait, reading from the upper right and running around the full periphery of the flan. |

| Description du revers | Central field occupied by a crowned heraldic shield bearing the Przegonia (Vaza) arms, flanked on the left by the Polish eagle and on the right by a rampant lion, the whole surmounted by the Roman numeral III denoting the denomination. Below the shield the mint-master's initials I D and the Przegonia escutcheon are placed, with the date split across the lower portion of the field. Three lines of abbreviated Latin text fill the central area identifying the coin as silver triple groschen of the Kingdom of Poland. |
