Obverse description Right-facing crowned bust of Sigismund III Vasa, bearded and wearing a ruffled collar and draped mantle, rendered in high relief in the late Renaissance style. The royal crown is richly detailed with pearls and floral ornaments. The Lewart (Leliwa) shield, bearing the arms of the Vasa dynasty, appears below the bust, interrupting the surrounding circular legend. The peripheral Latin legend runs along the inner border, divided by the shield at the base.
