Obverse description Crowned and draped bust of Sigismund III Vasa facing right, wearing an elaborate arched crown and a ruffled collar, with the royal mantle visible at the truncation. The effigy is rendered in the late Renaissance hammered style typical of Polish royal coinage of the period. A circular Latin legend surrounds the bust, interrupted by the crowned portrait, reading SIG III D G REX PO M D L. The border features a beaded inner circle consistent with Lublin Mint production of this era.
