| Reverse description | The reverse displays a centrally positioned crowned shield bearing the Vasa dynastic arms (a sheaf), flanked to the left by the Polish White Eagle and to the right by the Lithuanian Pursuer (a mounted knight). Below the heraldic composition, the denomination inscription occupies two lines reading GROS ARG / TRIP R PO, abbreviated for Grossus Argenteus Triplex Regni Poloniae. The date 1606 appears in the lower field, with the zero digit incorporating a small circular mintmaster's mark containing the Kraków city emblem. The overall design is characteristic of the trojak series struck for the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth under Sigismund III Vasa. |
