Obverse description Draped and armored bust of King Sigismund III Vasa facing left, wearing an elaborate royal crown with ornamental detailing. The king is depicted with a short beard and ruff collar, his mantle rendered with fine drapery lines. The Lewart (Topór) heraldic shield appears below the bust. A circular Latin legend surrounds the effigy within a beaded border.

Reverse description Central field displays the denomination in Roman numerals (III) at the top, beneath which appear three heraldic shields arranged horizontally: the Polish crowned eagle, the Vasa dynastic sheaf arms, and the Lithuanian mounted knight (Pahonia). The date and Kraków mint mark (K) appear at the bottom of the design. A circular Latin legend in the outer ring names the coin and its issuing authority.
