Obverse description Three wheat grains sprouting upward, depicted in a stylized archaic manner, arranged side by side and occupying the full field of the flan. Each grain is rendered with a slightly bulbous body tapering to a pointed tip, conveying the characteristic form of cereal growth. The design is bold and deeply struck, consistent with the regional coinage style of Boeotian mints during the fifth and fourth centuries BC.
