Obverse description Facing head of a lion or panther rendered in high relief within a slightly raised central area, depicted in a bold and archaic artistic style characteristic of early Ionian electrum coinage. The feline visage is shown frontally, with prominently globular eyes, a broad muzzle, and stylized fur rendered in bold pellets and ridges. The surface of the flan shows the natural irregular contour typical of early struck electrum pieces. No legend or inscription is present.
