| Obverse description | Helmeted head of Athena facing left, rendered in archaic style with a taenia binding the hair; long tresses fall freely behind the neck and down the nape. The facial features are rendered in the severe style characteristic of late 5th-century BC Peloponnesian coinage. The flan is small and irregular, consistent with fractional silver coinage of the period. |
