| Reverse description | A three-spoked wheel occupies the upper portion of the reverse, its spokes radiating from a central hub against a plain field. Below the wheel, a wolf strides energetically to the right within a open semicircular arc, rendered in a lively if somewhat schematic Iberian style. The wolf motif is a distinctive emblem associated with the Ilergetan mint of Iltirta, and the composition as a whole is enclosed within the curved border of the arc. An Iberian script legend is associated with this type, though it may not be fully visible on all specimens. |
