Obverse description Central cross pattée within a beaded inner circle, flanked by two pellets in the upper field, one on each side of the upper arm of the cross. The surrounding outer legend reads RAMVUNDVS COMS, divided by small crosses or stops, all within a beaded border. The design is characteristic of Crusader hammered billon coinage, with a bold, slightly irregular strike typical of the Tripoli mint.
