Obverse description Forepart of a wolf advancing to the right, rendered in bold relief with characteristic stylized musculature. The animal's head is turned slightly to face the viewer, with prominent horns visible above — consistent with the Argive wolf type associated with the sanctuary of Apollo Lykeios. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, typical of late Hellenistic hammered coinage from the Argolid. No legend appears on this side.
