| Obverse description | Draped bust of Artemis facing three-quarters left, wearing a necklace and earrings, her hair arranged in a formal coiffure. A quiver is visible over her right shoulder, serving as an attribute identifying the deity. The bust is rendered in a compact, frontal style characteristic of Thracian civic coinage of the late Classical period. The flan is irregular, consistent with hand-struck production of the period. |

| Reverse description | A Macedonian crested helmet depicted in facing view, rendered with cheek-guards and a pronounced dome, resting on a horizontal surface. A six-pointed star appears above the helmet in the upper field, serving as a secondary symbol. The ethnic legend ΟΡΘΑΓΟΡΕΩΝ is disposed in the field around the central device, partially flanking the helmet on both sides. The engraving style is bold and schematic, typical of the civic bronze and silver issues of Thracian mints in the late fourth to early third century BC. |
