| Reverse description | Incuse square divided into four compartments by a cruciform arrangement: two larger rectangular panels contain the letters Μ and Α respectively, flanked by two smaller plain rectangular panels. The overall composition forms a symmetrical mill-sail or windmill pattern within the incuse depression, characteristic of early Peloponnesian archaic coinage. The letters ΜΑ serve as the ethnic abbreviation for Mantinea. The incuse is sharply struck with clean, well-defined borders. |
