| Obverse description | Central field displays three fleurs-de-lis arranged in heraldic formation, two in chief and one in base, all set within a beaded inner circle. The fleurs-de-lis are rendered in a bold, somewhat crude hammered style characteristic of late medieval Milanese billon coinage. The surrounding circular Latin legend reads LV • D • G • FRANCOR • REX, identifying Louis XII as King of the French. The coin exhibits an irregular flan with characteristic die wear and green patination consistent with its billon composition and age. |

| Reverse description | Central field bears a large, bold cross pattée with splayed, slightly ornate terminals, set within a beaded inner circle. The cross fills the field prominently and is executed in the hammered style typical of Milanese petty coinage of the early sixteenth century. The surrounding circular Latin legend reads MEDIOLANI • DVX • 7 C •, proclaiming Louis XII as Duke of Milan. The flan is irregular and somewhat clipped at the margins, with green and golden patination visible across the surface. |
