| Obverse description | Facing left, the wreathed head of the goddess Tanit rendered in fine Hellenistic style, her hair bound with a wreath of grain ears. The effigy is adorned with a beaded necklace and a distinctive triple-drop earring, characteristic of Punic iconographic convention. The modelling of the facial features reflects strong Sicilian Greek artistic influence prevalent in Carthaginian coinage of the First Punic War period. The portrait occupies the full flan with minimal field visible around the periphery. |

| Reverse description | A horse standing in profile to the right, rendered with naturalistic musculature typical of Punic electrum coinage of the First Punic War era. Above the horse, a solar disk flanked by two erect uraeus cobras — emblems of Egyptian religious influence absorbed into Punic iconography. Three pellets are positioned above the exergual line, serving as a control or denomination mark. The composition reflects the blending of North African, Egyptian, and Hellenistic artistic traditions characteristic of Carthaginian military coinage. |
