Reverse description The reverse displays a forepart of a ram or bull's head in profile set within the field, accompanied by the abbreviated ethnic legend ΚΡΑ (for Kranioi) arranged around the central device in Greek characters. The letters are boldly incuse-struck, distributed across the field in the manner typical of small Elean fractional silver. The flan surface is worn and irregular, consistent with hammer-struck coinage of the period, and no border or wreath surrounds the design.
