| Beschrijving voorzijde | Ithyphallic satyr depicted in a squatting or kneeling pose, moving half-left, his bearded head turned toward the viewer. He raises a kylix (wine cup) aloft in his right hand, while his left arm is braced at his side. The figure is rendered in a bold, archaic style characteristic of Thasian coinage, with musculature indicated by strong relief carving. The field is plain, with no legend or exergual inscription. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A large amphora occupies the central field, depicted in profile with flanged handles and a tapering body, resting on a pointed foot. A grapevine tendril entwines around the neck and handles of the vessel, a common Dionysiac motif referencing Thasos's renowned wine trade. The ethnic inscription ΘΑΣ-ΙΩΝ is divided to either side of the amphora in Greek characters. The design is unframed within the irregular flan, with the letters disposed in two vertical groups flanking the central device. |
