| Obverse description | Laureate head of Apollo facing left, rendered in the archaic-to-classical transitional style characteristic of Megarian coinage. The laurel wreath is depicted with individual berries and leaves arranged around the deity's head. The facial features, though worn, retain traces of fine engraving with a pronounced profile, almond-shaped eye, and flowing hair falling behind the neck. The flan is irregular, as typical of hammered coinage of this period, with the design occupying the central field. |
