Obverse description Laureate, draped bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, with drapery visible on the left shoulder, rendered in fine high relief with strong portraiture characteristic of Hadrianic provincial coinage. The emperor's hair is arranged in short curls beneath the laurel wreath, with a naturalistically modelled beard. A circular Greek legend runs around the periphery within a dotted border, identifying the emperor with his full imperial titulature.
