Obverse description Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic style with finely engraved wavy hair bound by a laurel wreath of full, carefully detailed leaves. The youthful, idealized profile displays a straight nose and slightly parted lips characteristic of Apollo iconography in Carian civic coinage. The hair falls in long, wavy locks behind the neck, and the laurel wreath is depicted with prominent berries at the center. The portrait fills much of the flan, with no visible legend on the obverse.
