Descrizione del rovescio	Female head facing right, identified as a local nymph, elegantly adorned with a triple-pendant earring and a pearl necklace. Her hair is neatly gathered and bound within a sakkos, a fabric hairnet tied at the nape of the neck, a common and carefully rendered detail on Thessalian coinage of this period. The ethnic legend ΦΑΛΑΝΝAIΩΝ, identifying the issuing city of Phalanna, is disposed around the field. The portrait demonstrates refined engraving typical of the Thessalian mint tradition of the early to mid fourth century BC.
