Obverse description Bare-headed youthful male bust facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with flowing curly hair framing the face. The effigy displays well-modelled facial features including a strong jaw, prominent nose, and slightly parted lips characteristic of idealized youth portraiture of the period. A monogram appears in the left field behind the head, serving as a magistrate or mint control mark. The flan is irregular and slightly broader than the design, typical of hand-struck Thessalian bronze coinage of this era.
