Reverse description A horse galloping or prancing to the right, depicted in a lively, dynamic posture typical of Thessalian civic bronzes. The ethnic legend ΦΕΡΑΙΩΝ is inscribed in the field around the horse, distributed across the reverse. A small circular symbol or pellet appears in the lower field beneath the horse. The style is consistent with the local workshop tradition of Pherai during the period of the Thessalian tyrants.
